Afterschool professionals are skilled, passionate, dedicated lifelong learners. If you're looking to grow your skills or the skills of others through professional development, try this daily plan using NAA's virtual resources.

Micro-Credentials Monday
A micro-credential is a short, competency-based recognition that allows an individual to demonstrate mastery in a particular area. From youth development to STEM, individuals with developed skills apply for the related micro-credential digital badges and submit evidence through the Professional Credentialing System.

Tech Tuesday
Become a digital learning champion and give students powerful access to technology outside of the classroom, with the Afterschool Tech Toolkit.

Wellness Wednesday
It is essential that afterschool professionals and leaders understand and develop their own social and emotional competencies. This webinar series offers tips on developing social and emotional learning (SEL) curriculum and guides individuals on how to assess their own emotional intelligence.

Summer Learning Toolkit Thursday
Summer programs offer invaluable services that engage youth during months when many students lose ground. The Summer Learning Toolkit is an online resource with more than 50 practical tools and resources to help professionals design and deliver high-quality summer programs.

Finish Strong Friday
Finish off the week of professional development by perusing the latest digital edition of Afterschool Today magazine. Pick an article to read and then reflect on the content with a colleague or on your own.
